    Qualifications

Successful candidates will have a strong PhD in experimental physics or relevant engineering disciplines, and extensive experience in experimental quantum optomechanics.

    Preference

Experience with continuous-variable quantum optics experiments in general, and techniques such as ultraprecise interferometry, high-finesse cavities, membrane-in-the middle systems, and low-temperature operation in particular, complete the profile of the ideal candidate.

    Responsibilities/ Job Description

The postdoc will implement optomechanical experiments with ultarcoherent resonators from room- to milliKelvin temperatures. The goal is to create, store and transduce quantum states of motion, including entangled states.
