    The scholarship can be applied for by master’s or master’s students who expect to complete their studies before the expected date of employment (statement from thesis supervisor, thesis contract or equivalent and documentation for exam time attached).

    Responsibilities & Job Description

    Frequent redundancies among newly employed employees in organizations responsible for significant welfare benefits are a socially costly issue – both financially, personally and qualitatively in the form of difficult professional stability in the core task and difficult development and continuation of workplace norms and professional standards. SUA provides highly specialized interventions to citizens with complex issues. SUA’s professional community is organized around the core task and values ​​such as orderliness, professional professionalism and ‘we culture’ in both the collegial collaboration, the interaction with the citizen and in relation to partners.

    The current 3-year research project, which is organized as an action research project in SUA, aims to create knowledge about retaining newly hired employees in the special sector, as well as to strengthen and develop the concrete introductory efforts in SUA.

    The above parties are looking for candidates for a PhD scholarship within the research area employee introduction / organizational socialization / employee introduction / retention of new employees. It is expected that the project will investigate how the organization and organization of the work and the introductory efforts can contribute to the retention of new employees. The project proposal must fulfill the framework description for the action research project on Strengthened employee introduction in the partnership collaboration between AAU and SUA (Appendix 1) link inserted on 19.04.2021. With a view to knowledge sharing in SUA and empirical data collection, PhD researchers will stay in SUA for two to three working days per week. week in the first year of the project and every other week in the following half of the project. The PhD researcher also has his workplace at Aalborg University, Aalborg. An independent and innovative project description is required for PhD research within the project framework.
