Formally, we require applicants for the PhD position to hold a two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent in a relevant field of engineering and science with high marks; and have proficiency in written and oral English

Your tangible goal is to transform from a student to a researcher while carrying out a scientific project and finding new results. We have a well tested road map that guides you through an independent research project, a course program, research dissemination and teaching, an external research stay, to your thesis and final PhD defense. In the PhD journey, we build you professionally as a researcher while also focusing on your personal development.

Right now, we have PhD students working with e.g. mathematical modelling to fight diabetes, bias in algorithms for Artificial Intelligence, statistical science for big data in energy systems, cybersecurity as well as fundamental scientific discoveries in Mathematics and Computer Science. The employment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The position is a full-time position
