    Qualifications

    Formally, we require applicants for the PhD position to hold a two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent in a relevant field of engineering and science with high marks; and have proficiency in written and oral English

    To become a successful PhD student, you need a scientific mindset with a curious approach to learning backed by an additional ability to think innovatively outside the box. As you will face multiple challenges and set backs, you will need persistency and a positive belief in that there always is a solution to a problem at hand.

    Your tangible goal is to transform from a student to a researcher while carrying out a scientific project and finding new results. We have a well tested road map that guides you through an independent research project, a course program, research dissemination and teaching, an external research stay, to your thesis and final PhD defense. In the PhD journey, we build you professionally as a researcher while also focusing on your personal development.

    At DTU Compute you will be part of an international research environment with top class scientists, supervisors and numerous PhD students like yourself. In a combined role, you will be both a student and a co-working scientist.     Note

    The employment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The position is a full-time position
