    The Smart Manufacturing Engineering Lab in Mechanical and Medical Engineering at Kangwon National University is recruiting PostDoc and Master’s level researchers who will enthusiastically research in the fields of Tissue-Engineering, Bioengineering, and Biofabrication.


    1 Postdoctoral researcher & 1 Researcher


    Postdoctoral Researcher PhD in a relevant field
    Researcher Master’s or higher in the relevant filed


    Tissue-Engineering; Bioengineering; Biofabrication; Biomedical Engineering;


    • Experience in Cell culture and biochemical assay (ELISA etc.)
    • Experience in qPCR and immune-staining analysis


    • Basic cell culture and Biochemical assay (ELISA etc.)
    • Organ-on-a-chip verification and Tissue Engineering related contents
    • qPCR and immune-staining analysis

    About the Smart Manufacturing Engineering Lab

    The Smart Manufacturing Engineering Laboratory conducts research that can apply mechanical engineering-based production manufacturing technology to various industrial fields. Based on manufacturing engineering and 3D printing technology, we conduct research on artificial tissues and organs, biomimetic in vitro diagnostic models, and functional rehabilitation/assisted smart devices development, and prepare for the 4th industrial revolution and new industries.

    Interests: Production manufacturing / 3D printing / Tissue engineering / Organ-on-a-chip / Wearable device

    – Research on 3D printer technology development and application to various industries
    – Development of bio and electronic materials for 3D printers
    – Artificial tissue/organ development based on mechanical tissue engineering
    – Development of a biomimetic in vitro diagnostic model (Organ-on-a-chip)
    – Wearable/Flexible and functional rehabilitation/assisted smart device development
